Kenya: Supporting Children in Rural Areas and Urban Informal Settlements
In Kenya, YORGHAS Foundation supports children living in vulnerable conditions in remote rural areas and urban informal settlements, including communities such as Manyatta and Obunga in Kisumu. Many families there face daily challenges related to poverty, limiting access to basic needs such as clothing, nutrition, and educational materials.
Our initiative focuses on providing essential support to children, including clothing, meals, and art supplies that enable creative and educational activities. These sessions give children a safe space to learn, express themselves, and develop their creativity.
In addition, we provide school uniforms and basic school kits for children attending local schools, helping to remove barriers to education and ensuring they can participate fully in their learning environment.
The project supports children in vulnerable circumstances by meeting their basic needs and enabling them to learn, play, and grow with dignity. By improving access to food, clothing, and education, we help create better long-term opportunities for their future.
Join us in helping create better future for children in Kenya!
The project is implemented in close collaboration with our local partner, Kind Heart Organization Kenya.
